Given that I work in the sun, I’ve always needed to invest in a great sunblock. You know, it’d suck to have an awesome body (due to my strict exercise, and eating regimen), only to have that juxtaposed with wrinkly, leathery skin. That said, every sunblock that I’d tried over the years had the same horrible effect: Increased acne. And, we’re not talking about little pimples… We’re talking about I’m-reverting-back-to-my-teenaged-years pimples; the kind that hurt horribly.
Just over a year ago, a friend of mine (@interlaceBB) suggested that I try Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock.

I’ve got to say, hands down, this is THE BEST sunblock I have EVER used.
Today, while perusing another local blog, I came across another suggestion.
Check it out!

Well I live in Barbados where its summer all year round. its just rainy summer or dry summer. But in July I did discover and rediscover two pretty good sunblocks.
A couple of years ago I discovered and fell in love with the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock. I’ve strayed since then but in June I happened upon this product again. Now I wonder why I ever strayed. The product description says that it leaves a matte dry to the touch feeling. To be honest that may be overstating it a bit. It does have a ‘liquidy’ texture that is lightweight on the skin and is certainly a lot less greasy than traditional mineral based sunscreens. The real winner of this product though is that this was the first sunblock I ever discovered that didn’t leave the infamous white cast that sunblock typically leaves behind. So, old-time something come back again 🙂 and I still love it.
